about WTAR

Wagon Tails Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Cheyenne, Kimball and Deuel counties in the Western Panhandle of Nebraska. We are dedicated to the prevention of animal cruelty and neglect and the reduction of unwanted pets through spaying and neutering.

We do not have a rescue facility, but are a network of volunteers and fosters who try to find forever homes for abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats in our region. We also offer spay/neuter assistance for pet owners in our area who could not otherwise afford to have their furry friends spayed or neutered.
